How it works

License behaviour

Bound to your app ID

The license only works in the app whose ID you registered. Using it in another app is rejected.

Online check, offline use

The SDK verifies the license with our server and caches a signed token, so verification continues to work without connectivity.

Offline grace period

If the server is unreachable when the token expires, production apps keep working through a grace period, and the SDK reports a warning so you can react. Explicitly revoked licenses stop immediately.

Enterprise offline licenses

For air-gapped or regulated environments we can issue signed license files that need no server contact. Ask our team.

Licensing questions

Can I use one license in several apps?

A license is bound to the app ID you registered, so each app needs its own. An app that ships on both Android and iOS can register both IDs on the same app.

What happens if my users are offline?

Once the SDK has verified your license it caches a signed token and keeps working offline. If it can't reach our server when the token expires, production apps continue through a grace period and the SDK reports a warning.

What happens when a license is revoked or expires?

The SDK stops working immediately for revoked licenses. Expired licenses stop at their end date. The grace period only covers the case where our server is unreachable.

Is any biometric data sent to you?

With standard packages, no. The only network request is license verification: your license key, the app ID, the SDK version and the platform. Optional session-evidence packages record per-session data to a backend, so ask us about those.

Can we get a license with no server contact at all?

Yes, for enterprise and air-gapped environments we can issue signed license files that need no network. Contact us to discuss.
